Leiko is an 18 year old waterbender

Northern Water Tribe
Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):
When Leiko was born, his mother died due to complications during the delivery. His parents were well known, and very friendly, so some of the best healers did all they could, but to no avail. Leiko loves waterbending, and began training as soon as he could walk. his father wasn't a bender, but he encouraged him to pursue bending. Leiko continued to learn until he mastered the bending discipline at the age of 15. Being 18, and approaching adulthood, there is tension between him and his father. His father wants an arranged marriage for him. He wants Leiko to settle down in a Northern Water tribe home, and start a family. Leiko however, doesn't want this, and instead wants to travel the world. Leiko's father, after some convincing, allowed him to leave.His father told him that he that he was welcome back to the tribe anytime. He is now off on his journey to explore the world.
Leiko has a very kind, helpful personality. He wants to help as many people as possible during his travels. He is also very interested in the airbenders, and would like to visit the temples someday. He also hopes to travel the earth kingdom, and see the great walls of Ba Sing Se. He is a good fighter, and is aware that in his travels he will probably meet some thieves, and will have to utilize his bending abilities. He was always the top of his class when it came to sparring, so he isn't worried. He wants to adopt a nomadic lifestyle, and spend his life traveling from village to village, hunting and taking temporary jobs to survive, never staying in one place more than a few days. Now as he sets off on his adventure, he takes one last look at home, and walks away, a smile on his face, and high hopes for the future.
